Jane Anderson

Jane graduated from Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina. She received her M.Div. degree from Colgate-Rochester Divinity School in Rochester, New York. Since completing her M.Div., she completed a two-year pastoral counseling residency at Onondaga Pastoral Counseling Center in Syracuse, New York. Jane also spent a year and a half in residency at the University of Rochester Marriage and Family Therapy Clinic. Jane has been a licensed local pastor in the United Methodist Church, serving churches in Oklahoma and North Carolina before becoming a United Church of Christ pastor. As a UCC minister, she served churches in the Rochester, New York, area for six years prior to coming to Appleton to join the staff in January of 1995. Jane's primary responsibilities are in counseling, visitation, spiritual nurture and direction, as well as in creating and managing programs that build lay pastoral ministry. Jane has responsibility for our spiritual formation programs and adult education, and she oversees the Mission and Service and Congregational Life ministry areas. She is an avid movie buff, loves to read a good book, and enjoys bicycling, fly-fishing, skiing and swimming. She is the mother of two children, Adrian and Anna-Marie, and grandmother to Alexandria.
