Kenya Partnership

To engage in mutual global partnership with members of the African Inland Churches in the Kerio Valley, Kenya, through visits and financial support.

Since the partnership began in 1998, we have worked with them on many projects, including installation of a solar-powered water purification system at Litre in 2007. Present goals include continued help with the clinic at Litre, expansion of micro-loans for women and completion of the library at Sambalat. A local young man is presently attending college to be the librarian. In 2012 a new program for support of secondary school students and university students began. Over 30 families/organizations are supporting school fees for 16 secondary students in the Kerio Valley and partial fees for 5 university students in Kenya. Members have also  supported Pastor Samuel Chepkonga in the Master of Divinity program at Emmanuel Christian Seminary in the United States.
