Mission & Service

The Mission & Service Ministry Team promotes awareness and understanding of and advocacy for the needs of people and communities at the local, state, national and international level.

Working with partnering organizations, the team seeks to provide opportunities to tranform this awareness and understanding into active volunteering, advocacy, and financial support of our partners and wider church programs.   We seek opportunities to DO justice and to make an impact on public policy for the common good.

The team is also the steward of the portion of our church budget directed toward providing assistance to those in need in the Fox Valley and around the world.

Programs that make up this ministry area include:

• Local/Global Service - Alternative Christmas Market, Plant-a-Row, Prayer Shawl Ministry, Prison Ministry, Project NOAHH, Rebuilding Together, and Fox Valley Warming Shelter
• Mission Partners - Back Bay Mission, Emergency Shelter of the Fox Cities, ESTHER, Greater Fox Cities Habitat for Humanity, Kenya-AIC Churches of the Kerio Valley, LEAVEN, Samaritan Counseling Center
• OCWM (Our Church's Wider Mission)
