Child Care and Church School (Ages 3-4)
Preschool classes and child care are available during Sunday morning worship unless otherwise posted. Adult volunteers and youth assistants will arrive 15 minutes before the start of each service, and your efforts to pick up your child five minutes after the conclusion of worship are greatly appreciated. Please sign in your child as instructed by the caregiver; should any problems occur, you will be notified through our in-house paging system.
Our youngest members and guests are welcomed into an environment that has all the touches of home: braided rugs, rocking chairs and comfortable cribs. For more adventurous babies, our nursery room has soft mats, interesting mirrors and shin-high baby climbers.
Richly colored murals in the Toddler Room are designed to captivate the interest of 2-year-olds. Toddlers are sheltered under broad jungle leaves as they explore the tree house or hang out in the "rainbow hollow" with friends. The room depicts nature as God has given it to us: lush, diverse and wonderful!
3- and 4-Year-Old Church School Classes
Sunday mornings during 8:45 and 10:30 AM worship services
(Ages 3 and 4)
Children who turn 3 by September 1 of the current school year may participate in 3- and 4-year-old Church School. This class offers a new Bible story each week, along with crafts and other fun activities designed to reinforce the lesson. Children are encouraged to carry hospitality, caring, praying and the message of Christ into the world beyond our walls.
On Sunday mornings, parents may take children directly to the classroom, or they may bring them into the sanctuary to participate in the first part of worship. After the children’s sermon, guides will lead children from the sanctuary to their classroom.
