June 2: 50’s Drive-In Mission Trip Fundraiser - We will be transforming the parking lot into a 50’s Drive-In Diner. Youth are encouraged to dress in their best 50’s outfit and bring roller skates. The best outfit wins an IPOD shuffle. Check out classic cars, meet Elvis. Meal donations $5. We expect 300-500 people so we need youth to volunteer! Contact Pastor Nick to get signed up. ANY HIGH SCHOOLER CAN PARTICIPATE! We need you!
June 20: Noah’s Ark Trip (Middle School and High School) - Bus will depart the parking lot at 8am and leave the waterpark at 5pm. Youth should bring a sack lunch and snacks for the ride home. Students are welcome to invite a friend. The first 50 to sign up go! Cost: $30 per person (includes travel, waterpark ticket, and a hotdog lunch). Scholarships are available.
July 8: Youth Mission Trip Commissioning and Mandatory Meeting - All members of the Mission Trip and at least 1 parent are expected to come to the 9:30am service and stay for an informational meeting from 10:30-11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Mandatory paperwork will be filled out during this time. Arrangements must be made if you cannot attend this meeting.
July 15-22: Youth Mission Trip to Marvell, Arkansas
July 29: Youth Mission Sunday & All-Church Brunch - All youth Mission Trip participants are expected to attend this worship service and stay for the Stockholder Brunch afterward. The service will celebrate our experience and include youth testimonies. Brunch will include a time for sharing, photos, and a brief look at what 2013 may hold for youth missions! Cost: Free to all Mission Trip participants and stockholders. Suggested donation of $5 per person or $10 for family for non-youth Mission Trip church members. EVERYONE IS INVITED!
