October 30–November 1, 2015
Cost: $130.00

Group at the 2014 women's retreat. Many of us have fond memories of retreats at Moon Beach UCC Church Camp near St. Germaine—the love and laughter shared around the warmth of a fireplace; exploring the beautiful north woods; meaningful, faith-filled conversations; walking the outside labyrinth; and fun crafts. Each retreat is built upon a theme, this theme and more details about the retreat will be available later this year.

Friends and Saints: Why We Can’t Live without Them

Beginning on Friday evening, October 30 at 7:30 PM
Ending on Sunday morning, November 1 at 11:30 AM

Friends . . .

We cherish friendship, but seldom take time to reflect on it deeply. We will explore the sustaining power of friendship, its health benefits, as well as its responsibilities and demands. How can you make room for friendship? How can you become a better friend?

And Saints . . .

On this All Saints’ Weekend, we ask the question: What is a saint and where do you find them? Who have been the saints in your life, your “cloud of witnesses,” your mentors and role models who have lighted your path? To whom are you a saint and an inspiration? What legacy do you wish to leave during your lifetime? We will take a look at the giving and receiving of sacred wisdom.
