We invite you to come explore the process and practice of spiritual discernment. We will discover the nature of discernment, the inner and outer conditions that facilitate it, and how we can cultivate awareness of inner wisdom to make important life decisions. We will look at discernment both as an individual contemplative process and in the Quaker group process known as the Clearness Committee.

Although the initial session will provide participants with tools for practicing individual discernment, those who attend are also invited to participate in a series of Clearness Committees over the following weeks. This extraordinary experience will bring the opportunity to develop insight into an important life issue, question or decision. There will be an additional suggested donation for those who choose to participate in the later sessions.

The introductory session and the Clearness Committees will be facilitated by Albert Bellg, a psychologist, writer and retreat facilitator with the Center for Courage & Renewal. In his work with the Center, Al has had participated in and facilitated many Clearness Committees.
