Spiritual Growth
The purpose of Spiritual Formation and Small Group Ministry is:
-
To
reclaim some of the forms of spiritual nurturing used for
centuries by Christians before us.
-
To
explore and practice spiritual disciplines which have shaped
faithful people of all ages.
-
To
discover specific suggestions for developing and deepening one’s
own regular prayer life.
-
To build community and support for the gifts of members in ministry.
-
To be more fully alive in the joyful praise of God!
“God does the renewing. But we also recognize
that effort is required on our part and we are grateful that we can
be about doing that which is needed from us by God.”
--Reuben Sheares
