Spiritual Growth
The purpose of Spiritual Formation and Small Group Ministry is:
-
To
reclaim some of the forms of spiritual nurturing used for
centuries by Christians before us.
-
To
explore and practice spiritual disciplines which have shaped
faithful people of all ages.
-
To
discover specific suggestions for developing and deepening one’s
own regular prayer life.
-
To build community and support for the gifts of members in ministry.
-
To be more fully alive in the joyful praise of God!
“God does the renewing. But we also recognize
that effort is required on our part and we are grateful that we can
be about doing that which is needed from us by God.”
--Reuben Sheares

Chrysalis
This group of women focuses on Bible study,
community building, caring, prayer and bridge building. In their
explorations of resources and reflection on their own spiritual
journeys, these women build bridges in relationship with others
and God through sharing hopes, dreams, ideas and fears. They give
and receive mutual support and care and provide a safe place to be
in times of struggle and joy.

book, and on the fourth week for fellowship.
Books are selected by the group and the leadership is shared by
one member of the group each week. The group typically will
read one chapter each week and prepare for discussion. We
welcome new members who seek fellowship, a time for sharing, and a
