Sundays during Advent
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

In this time of Covid-19, local agencies need extra help from our church community. Our 2020 Advent Mission Extravaganza extends the reach of our Alternative Christmas Market by targeting specific needs that can be met immediately through in-kind donations.

Each Sunday in Advent, you can drive through the church parking lot from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM and donate an item that will be delivered to local organizations by our Mission and Service team.

If you’d like to make your donation in honor of someone on your Christmas list, we’ll provide a description of your donation for you to give to the recipient.

November 29: Gifts of Food

Your donations of nonperishable food will be delivered to the St. Joe’s food pantry.

How it works:

Bring your donations to the church west entrance, watch for signs and greeters. Place your bags of food in the boxes that will be outside.  Please wear a mask. Non-perishable food items in non-breakable packages accepted.

Special requests from St. Joe’s:

  • Box meal kits e.g. Hamburger Helper
  • Peanut Butter
  • Jelly (any flavor)
  • Canned soups
  • Tuna

Gift cards to grocery stores are also welcomed.  There will be a separate drop-box for those.

December 6: Gifts of Toys

Your donation of a new, unwrapped toy will be delivered to Harbor House or the Salvation Army. Toys for any age and gender are welcome for the Toys for Tots program at the Salvation Army.
