Pick up: Sunday, October 17
Collection: Sunday, October 24

This fall there will be more than one option for picking up an E2F (Empty to Full) Pan. Participants can collect a pan after worship on October 17. There will also be a drive thru system, on the outside of the First Congo main door that evening, October 17 from 6:00-7:00 PM to hand out E2F Pans to those who drive up in their vehicle. There won’t need to be any direct contact.

The following week the same systems will be used for collection. The filled E2F (Empty to Full) Pans primarily provide meals for Pillars, homeless shelters and low-income, affordable housing resources. A few years ago, after meeting the needs of Pillars, Apricity, a non-profit providing a full spectrum of care for those impacted by substance use disorders, including treatment, employment, and recovery support services was added as a recipients of E2F Pans.

Each E2F Pan handed out will include a grocery list, recipe for preparation, and a prayer. The cost for groceries is approximately $13. The person taking the pan purchases the groceries and assembles the recipe to fill the pan. All of the recipes are easy and require very little cooking. The assembled pan is frozen or kept cold until returned to church, on the date shown, for delivery to the recipient.

Pick up: Sunday, October 17 from 10:30-11:30 AM after the church service or later that Sunday from 6:00-7:00 PM drive thru style from the main church doors.

Collection: Sunday, October 24 at the beginning of the church service 9:30-10:00 AM or later that Sunday 6:00-7:00 PM drive thru style from the main church doors.

If you are unable to return the pan on the given day, please call the church to make sure there is access to the church for drop off the week before. Please call Cindi MacSwain 920-606-6699 or email [email protected] if you have concerns about pick up or drop off. Please provide your name, phone number and address and any other helpful info when leaving a message.

Thank you for your generous service in this adjusted ministry!
