First Congregational UCC-Appleton generously supports a scholarship for each semester at College of Menominee Nation. The college has kindly extended a blanket invitation to attend the Menominee Nation 2022 Pow Wow August 5-7 in the beautiful Woodland Bowl at Keshena.
In a way, a Pow Wow is a bit like a homecoming. Families from across Turtle Island come to celebrate friendships in ceremonies, feasting, dancing, drumming, contests and games. Much can be learned from watching the dancers and from the words of the Pow Wow MC, who will describe the significance/symbolism of the regalia, the dances, the drum and the songs.

Traditional foods will be available for purchase, along with wonderful traditional arts and craft vendors to browse.
