
Organist Search Underway
First Congregational United Church of Christ at 724 E. South River St., Appleton, WI, a vibrant congregation of 1,500 members, is accepting applications for its half-time organist position. (Moller/Sipe organ, three manuals, six divisions, fifty-eight ranks; Steinway B Grand Piano.) The position includes: playing Sunday morning services and special services during Advent and Lent; accompanying Wednesday evening rehearsals; playing weddings and memorials; planning worship with clergy and Director for Music Ministries; possible accompanying or directing of additional ensembles. This established music ministry offers multiple vocal and handbell choirs, performs major choral/orchestral works, hosts concerts/recitals, and offers its Lawrence University Music Scholars program.
