Childcare & Children in Worship Opportunities
Childcare
Childcare employees and volunteers are available to supervise your children while you attend worship or participate in church activities. They are SafeConduct trained and have passed background checks.
Infants and Toddlers
Childcare for infants and toddlers is offered during worship services in the Children, Youth and Family Center.
infants – 5th graders
Childcare for Infants through 5th graders is available when Adult Education offerings are in session (typically Sundays from 10:30-11:30 AM and Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 PM).
Infant Nursery
Our nursery is a comfortable space with braided rugs, rocking chairs and cribs, as well as soft mats, interesting mirrors and shin-high baby climbers.
Toddler Room
Our toddler room depicts nature as God has created it and invites young children to play under broad jungle leaves, explore the tree house or hang out in the “rainbow hollow.”
PRAYground
Children are always welcome in out worship! Our PRAYground is in the back of the sanctuary for our 3–11-year-olds, along with seating for their adults. Our PRAYground is available during the summer. It is also available during the program year, for those who wish to remain in the Sanctuary with their adults instead of attending Children’s Ministry.
The PRAYground encourages children to enjoy quiet activities and participate in the worship service when appropriate. Please have your child stop activities when the congregation is praying, to have them practice pausing and praying with others.
PreKindergarten Program
Children who turn 3 by September 1stof the current school year may attend Children’s Ministry for3- and 4-year-olds in the Little Angels Room. Each Sunday includes crafts, stories and interactive play around the same Bible story that the older children are studying.
